We have an air purifier thats set to run whenever it detects lower air quality including from things like cooking, smoke, etc. But occasionally I'll just walk past it & it immediately powers up full blast, & i don't think a machine should be allowed to roast you in your own home like that.
Funny. I installed a heat pump system and new thermostat. When being instructed on the settings, my HVAC guy pointed out how the humidity from our breath was increasing the thermostat humidity percentage.
What a wierd world.
