It sounds terrible. 1h before the meeting he was claiming that without a cease fire he would be very upset and there would be tough sanctions. And now he declares a ceasefire is a bad idea. He has gobbled all of Putin's bullshit and as usual backed down on everything he claimed he would get.

C'est le principe de déclarer en public que la mort d'une personne est souhaitable qui pose problème.
L'ampleur de la célébration anticipée n'entre pas en compte pour qu'une personne avec des repères moraux et éthiques à peu près normaux trouve ce comportement répugnant, tout comme son incitation.

For him it's win because Putin told him he was an incredible president and "confirmed" that if he was president the war would not have happened. That's enough for Trump to forget everything, including the promises of sanctions if no ceasefire I reached. 3 years old boy level.
