I can't even get my insurance to cover my kid's meds, what chance is there I can negotiate an affordable premium or deductible? ZERO.
There would be even LESS reason for insurance companies to negotiate under this system.
It's a farce. GOP wants to kill ACA, Medicaid, & Medicare. And one way to do that is make them unaffordable so not enough people sign up to justify keeping them open. Initially this will hurt people needing healthcare, but it will also destroy a huge part of the economy, with 10s of 1000s laid off.
