I think it’s ARFID, and they did mention that. I wonder if it’s becoming more common, or has just found a name for something here all along. BTW — sorry this took over your lunch post. I didn’t mean for that to happen. I’ve been impressed by YEARS of your posting the kids’ creative lunches.

This is way more interesting!! I’m betting more people are just naming it now. I remember kids that would only eat certain things and were like physically repulsed by food. Glad it’s acknowledged and there are processes for it now.

  1. I tend to forget the emotional and psychological impacts of food — unless it’s positive. But it’s a complicated relationship we have with food, let alone the culture of eating, and I’ll learn a lot through this project.
