I just learned, that somewhere in my son’s 13 years of life, he saw a fax machine on tv and thought faxes worked by sending physical pieces of paper back and forth. Like the same piece of paper I put in a fax machine in nc would somehow pop out a different machine in California.
Working for pay this Labor Day instead of working for free as I would have spent the day catching up on laundry and cleaning the things I pretend not to see every other day.

I managed to eat the bigger share.
Trying to bridge the seasonal change with cinnamon roll casserole and raspberries.
My son is spending Labor Day weekend at the pool with my mom, while my daughter and I are ushering in fall as quickly as possible.
We spent the afternoon doodling & painting family ghosts.
My sandwich came out so pretty for just being a bunch of processed meats. Pepperoni, salami, ham, provolone, lettuce, and onion.
I bought them at 11 am, opened them at 2pm, have eaten 3 by 10pm.
Trader Joe’s has INDIVIDUALLY wrapped ‘Nutella’ crêpes!! What a fun and delicious snack! So easy to throw in a purse or a lunchbox!
I also find the image of someone casually snacking on a purse crêpe in a check out line hilarious.
Crepes! Minimal ingredients and tools. Seeing it pulsed very smooth and then that it’s so thin and versatile might be good! It’s really cheap and it feels like you’re ‘doing something’.
This is way more interesting!! I’m betting more people are just naming it now. I remember kids that would only eat certain things and were like physically repulsed by food. Glad it’s acknowledged and there are processes for it now.
