Didn't interpret this as ableism (e.g. specifically did not include slurs or measures of "intelligence") but a comment re: someone not being present/ paying attention. Though not in this 1 post, as a disabled queer I've spoken a lot on the issue disabled marriage equality (and reproductive rights.)

This law only requires that states recognize same sex marriages already performed by states who have same sex marriage enshrined in their own constitutions/charters. That is obviously not all states, nor is it the same as a federal law protecting or recognizing same sex marriage.

Thomas wrote in his Dobbs opinion that he wanted an Obergefell and Griswold redo. And that was in 2022, when we were still doing large swaths of the Constitution!

I spent a lot of last summer making ASL versions of info about Project 2025. The amount of hatred I got was overwhelming. Those folks are quiet now, and there's no pleasure in having been right. It's just sad. It didn't have to be this way. And tbh P25 is a drop in the bucket of evil these days.
