    An industry that lets storage tanks fall into disrepair resulting in a big spill of toxic fracking wastewater into a stream is the same industry that claims they are the absolutely best at capturing methane emissions.

    Unlike the oil sheen on the water, no one can see the methane.

    Big oil corporations want the Trump EPA to keep the veneer of methane regulation while gutting provisions that require real transparency and accountability (like third party reporting on super emitter events and the methane fee).
