It is interesting that GOP is so worried about losing the House they are willing to go nuclear on mid-decade gerrymandering but aren't willing to consider the alternative of maybe shifting away from policies that are deeply unpopular.
They made a choice to knowingly follow a fascist which required selling their souls. You can't renege on that deal, the only way is forward full speed into fascism because turning back only brings you face to face with angry villagers wielding torches and pitchforks.
