Really frustrating seeing journalists continue using “peace deal.” This is such an insult to Ukrainians. What “peace deal” implies is rewarding a terrorist state committing genocide and an illegal invasion by an aggressor.

  1. Wish American media would choose their words instead of repeating this nonsense. The only solution to end the war is for Russia to get the hell out of Ukraine—a sovereign country—and return the tens of thousands of stolen children

  2. Eventually, Trump's ego will need a win. He'll throw Ukraine under the bus to get Putin's approval on a deal. Then he'll threaten the Ukraine if it doesn't accept the deal. He'll add as much drama a possible to detract from the Epstein files.

  3. 100% with you on this. Still coming to grips with how you and I can see exactly what must happen to achieve a “JUST PEACE” against #TerrirRussia and yet… everything seems to be going against this particular outcome. 🧐

    Slava Ukraini 💛💙🌻🇺🇦

  4. All I can imagine is what would Americans say if Russia invaded Alaska and there were now discussions to end hostilities with Russia retaining part of the Alaskan territory they illegally gained.

    5
  5. If the one-third of Americans who agree with you would go on strike, dumbass journalists and congresspeople would finally be emboldened to start sacrificing their comforts, too. Then real change is possible.

  6. That's why I hate the legacy media and their complicity with Trump, they know damn well that Trump is not planning a peace deal for Ukraine, what he's planning is a surrender deal in which he throws Ukraine under the bus. F**k Trump & Putin Slava Ukraine!!

  7. 100 % empathize.

I see it happening now with the rhetoric from the US towards Canada. Aggression is normalized…..once 55% of the population believes people that are exactly like them are an enemy….you can roll tanks.

  8. This is just another attempt by this administration to cut support for Ukraine and support Russia. I hope Europe and the rest of NATO see if for what it is.

  9. Trump is meeting Putin to learn what terms of surrender Donald will convey to Zalenskyy in exchange for “peace.” Of course, Putin will flatter Donald into thinking it’s all Trump’s idea - “genius” peace broker.

  10. From what I have seen it is a lousy deal for Ukraine and defies everything they have been fighting for. Or course, the sociopathic narcissist who runs this country needs to stay in the good graces of his buddy Vlad so will do as Vlad tells him to.

  11. You're talking about the Socialist Patients' terrorist psycho who calls himself "Trump". He means "Piece" deal and he thinks he's being smart.

  12. ....... There is no deal with anyone unless done by Zelensky on behalf of the Ukrainian people.

Putin needs to go back to selling shoes.

  13. Today’s media suck! They are a glorified enquirer magazine, allowing click bait & fiction to claim a Peabody award! Instead, claim the Scam Award! My personal viewership as a former news junkie and subscriber of our local newspaper is currently on pause until integrity is restored!

  14. The only peace deal would be for Russia to get out of all Ukrainian Territory that it stole from Ukraine.

  15. Really frustrating seeing people like you using words like genocide to push your agenda. In no court of law, do we listen to only one part of the story. And yet, censorship doesn't bother you. Ukrainians fell for the division bait and wealth promise. Make friends with your Russian family instead.

  16. Is now the time for Mexico to take back territory? The "settlement" could involve them retaining 50% of their newly-reclaimed territory and some hollow promise of not invading again.

  17. This is what Cyprus had to swallow; a bitter pill. Russia should retreat to the 2014 border but it will probably try to keep, at the very least, Crimea and, probably, also its advances in Donetsk and Luhansk. It may also try to keep Ukraine out of NATO and the EU. Is peace at any price really peace?

    0
  18. ‘Carve up’ sounds better. Pressure on EU and Starmer - do they go along with Trump & Putin or do they stand by Ukraine, as they have promised? Knowing Trump, it’ll be no more than a photo op, with nothing very much agreed. But expect he will put his flowery sig to something for the cameras.

  19. So, now you understand how the Palestinians feel when the entire media sphere advocates for a two-state solution?

  20. What journalists?

Oh, you mean those oligarchy owned media conglomerates here in the US?

Yeah. No. They aren't journalists. They are propagandists. They are there to whitewash and placate for the fascist regimes, russia included.

The journalists are at the human rights groups being blackballed

    0
  21. Journalists are few & far between now. We have stenographers who simply regurgitate what they are fed by propagandists. The lack of meaningful and insightful questions to the administration is a dead giveaway.

    0
  22. Agreed. This is no peace deal, this is another attempt by #Trump to distract attention away from his #Epstein situation - his being a pedo sex pest and the ongoing coverup (bigger than #Watergate) by him, Vance, Bondi, Patel and certain MAGA members of Congress.

    0
  23. EXACTLY . . . .

THESE "journalists" are just a bunch of LIMP WEENIES

    'shufflewalking, bobbleheading' behind their 'master'

& ENABLING the 'trumpy dumpy NAZI REGIME' !!!

    0
  24. It's a negotiation of "Temporary Genocide and Ethnic Cleansing Conditions." it should never be referred to as anything else.

Also,.. Pedo-Shitler is doing EVERYTHING to deflect from the SINGLE issue that could end his terrorist, traitor, pedophile dictatorship,... please focus on that.

  25. The only "deal" to be had here is: Russia withdraws COMPLETELY from ALL sovereign Ukrainian territory, and in return, Trump promises to not to send SEAL Team Six (or simply launch a ballistic missile upon his confirmed whereabouts) to assassinate Putin for crimes against humanity. Period! Крапка!

    0
  26. Is it really a "peace deal" if we're negotiating terms first with Russia, and then pushing those negotiated terms at Ukraine with a "accept or else" attitude?

    0
  27. Maybe when Poland or another NATO country is attacked the EU will step up. Belarus isn’t storing nuclear weapons for nothing.

  28. They are not journalists. They are parrots. They are not fact checking a damn thing. They don’t challenge anything with truth. Heritage has them on a tight leash…..

  29. Well I need too see this to believe, please forget me for my innocence,🥴

  30. it shows a whole crop a leaders that are weak in the west that need to get all voted out and replaced with a few liberal minded for its social programs YET have balls to stand up against evil and have militaries help each other

    0
  31. The only way there can ever be peace in Ukraine is for Russia to withdraw entirely and pay reparations. Жодного квадратного сантиметра!

    0
  32. Trump Lutz for his “peace price” like Sméagol wanted the ring He doesn’t deserve it, but he lusts for it. And like a Sméagol , he will employ every lie in deception to get it, including sacrificing anybody and everything regardless of the cost. A cost he is willing to pay with other people‘s lives.

    0
  33. He doesn’t WANT ‘peace.’ He wants capitulation. Surrender. They will not surrender.

    0
  34. Oh we see him, meeting tomorrow in Alaska with Putin, (hostile nation state) and sworn enemies of USA, Ukraine and many of our allies. ❌No “negotiations” without Ukrainian leadership present. 👎🏽

    0
  35. The idea that two leaders can meet and fix this without the leader of the country being attacked as part of a takeover

    0
  36. It is total arrogance and disrespect, to negotiate a peace agreement with the attacker alone, and not including the attacked. Trump being played by Putin again. Putin should be arrested when he sets foot in the US. #StandWithUkraine

    0
  37. Maybe Putin is checking out Alaska in case he wants to make it part of Russia. Trump would sell it for the right price.

    1
  38. It is a PIECE DEAL! DJT & PUTIN want Russia to have a BIGLY piece of Ukraine’s rich mineral resources! A BIGLY piece of Ukraine’s farmlands & BIGLY piece of enslaving Ukrainian’s into forced labor for Russia! That’s the ones left that Russia hasn’t killed!

    0
  39. It likely won't be a "peace deal" but something else. If anything the attempt now appears to be to pause things for a while which isn't likely to be productive. Will Ukraine have a choice?

    0
  40. The "deal" is Putin agreeing to a meeting on U.S. soil to give Trump a "Peacemaker" TV episode for domestic media consumption, in exchange for the U.S. publicly demanding that Ukraine cede territory.

Munich 1938 folks. Sometimes history doesn't just rhyme, it really does repeat. Wash, spin, rinse.

The lesson of Munich, in international relations, refers to the appeasement of Adolf Hitler at the Munich Conference in September 1938. To avoid war, France and the United Kingdom permitted Nazi Germany to incorporate the Sudetenland. Earlier acts of appeasement included the Allied inaction towards the remilitarization of the Rhineland and the Anschluss of Austria, while subsequent ones included inaction to the First Vienna Award, the annexation of the remainder of Czech Lands to form the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia, as well as the 1939 German ultimatum to Lithuania forcing it to cede the Klaipėda Region.

The policy of appeasement underestimated Hitler's ambitions by believing that enough concessions would secure a lasting peace.[1] Today, the agreement is widely regarded as a failed act of appeasement towards Germany,[2] and a diplomatic triumph for Hitler. It facilitated the German takeover of Czechoslovakia and caused Hitler to believe that the Western Allies would not risk war over Poland the following year, an assessment openly expressed in his famous quotation: "I saw my enemies in Munich, and they are worms", which proved partially correct in light of the popularity of the slogan Why die for Danzig? in France and, crucially, the events known as the Phoney War.

  41. It's the same as in Israel: just hold on to your annexation of foreign territories long enough and it will become the norm.

    1
  42. Exactly. Trump is out for Trump. He’d sacrifice Ukraine or anyone else for his personal benefit. Putin is a vicious killer—an international terrorist. He can’t be trusted at all. No deal is just unless Ukraine agrees to it.

    0
  43. Exactly what I was thinking. Why would an invading force, without provocation, be entitled to anything but contempt and disdain? He is an embarrassment!

    0
  44. This Alaska meeting with Putin will accomplish distracting Americans from the Epstein files and the cushy treatment of Ghislaine Maxwell. It will be a photo op for Trump, who is salivating over a Nobel Peace Prize. President Zelensky should be in Alaska, too, if peace was the goal ! 🫩

    0
  45. The so-called journalists call it whatever The Felon wants them to call it. Trump keeps using the words “peace deal” in hopes of stealing a Nobel. He’s so pathetic!

    0
  46. If there is any peace deal ruzzia must withdraw all forces to previous 2014 invasion then Zelensky can step down upon new elections period nothing less... Trump is a fool

    0
  47. Ukraine should not bow to either fascist leader & must stand firm against both regimes -Russia & the US.. Ukraine was invaded & should concede NOTHING to the war criminal & his sidekick, the Felon-in-Chief. We must close our eyes & ears to MSM which repeats lies & misrepresents reality. #RESIST

    1
  48. This ain't no fucking peace deal. You can't have a peace deal when 1/2 of the dealing sides ain't even invited to the deal and then a 3rd party intruder says yeah we're gonna give one side everything they want plus more they didn't even ask for. How fucked up is this supposed deal?

    0
  49. Why is trump speaking for Ukraine and giving up their lands? Who gave him any authority to speak for Ukraine?

    6
  50. "Totally agree. The term 'peace deal' downplays the aggression and atrocities. More accurate language is needed to reflect the reality."

    0
  51. The fact that Trump sent a realtor friend to negotiate showed us what might happen in the worst case.

The rest of the world must kick back against this rewarding of gangsterism.

    1
  52. "Journalists"? Our Nazi-owned legacy media no longer employs journalists. Only hacks who churn out corpofascist propaganda for sociopathic billionaires.

    0
  53. It is also terrible they have all these meeting about peace, without the Ukrainians 🇺🇦 slava Ukraini

    0
  54. Exactly right. And what kind of “deal” can be made that doesn’t appease the aggressive, rouge invasion of a sovereign nation by Russian forces?

    0
  55. No peace will happen with trump in the white house only bs stories and buddy coddling for Putin might be time for the rest of Europe to step up

    0
  56. This is not a peace deal. It’s a way from trump to get a Nobel and it reinforces Putin in his crimes. Russia is the aggressor. Ukraine needs to be supported as free. The media needs to tell the damn truth .

    0
  57. The Trump family is riddled with Russian dirty money. For decades, Russian dirty money has been saving them from bankruptcy. Trump Tower is the largest launderette of Russian dirty money and a safe haven for corrupt Russian oligarchs.

    1
  58. So true. Meanwhile TRUMP WORKS FOR PUTIN.

I am ashamed that the USA has abandoned the cause of freedom and undermines an independent and free Europe.

  59. They were using similar language when nazi Germany was given a large chunk of Czchecoslovakia... soon followed by the rest of it.

    0
  60. Have been trying to think of a descriptor which could accurately define what Zelensky, Trump & Putin might negotiate. 'Armistice' is the closest I can find.

Could you review its meaning and let me know what you think?

Ukraine's future is in the hands of the Ukrainian people - not Trump

    0
  61. 💯 These are NOT peace deals. Ukraine should not even be asked to surrender its sovereign territory to an aggressor who invaded illegally.

    0
  62. Knowing trump he thinks peace means piece. He figures its ok for wealthy sociopathic megalomaniacs like himself, putin & netan-the-yahoo to take any piece of whatever it is they want (land, ass, resources, etc) as long as trump gets a piece of the profits or a big piece of bribe for his trouble

    0
  63. Those talking that babble are not journalists. They fill space between commercial messaging, and accept what is handed to them without thought or finding of fact. The plan is make some drama to get past Epstein. They are tools to get there, mostly unwitting.

    0
  64. Agree with you Olga. It is a failure of the press on a monumental scale. Do all journalists get their News and Entertainment from Fox and Tucker Carlson now?

    0
  65. Putin is a war criminal and is attempting genocide in Ukraine.

Putin always targets unarmed civilians during his wars of invasion.

Hegseth got trump pardons for a couple US military members found guilty of purposely killing unarmed civilians.

ICE Gestapo goons target unarmed civilians.

    0
  66. Excellent point. We’re beyond the pretense. But obviously media is Trump controlled propagation at this point. Journalists pick a side. We will remember your betrayal of democracy on the other side of this “battle” for our freedoms. Freedoms guaranteed by our constitution.

    0
  67. There can be no peace with Putin.

Ukraine must be cleared of Russian aggression, including Crimea, its children returned, and restitution paid for Russian war crimes and property damage… the whole cost of the war.

Ukraine should join the EU and NATO.

All over Putin’s dead body, I’m sure!

    1
  68. And Putin will never stop. Whatever they "give" him, he will just use to take more. He has no intention of backing off of Eastern Europe.

I say we start bombing the crap out of Russia. At least until he gives their kids back. And take every asset from Russian oligarchs who prop him up.

    0
  69. It is maddening. The only "peace" is for Russia to go home. They should tend to their own country. From what I have heard, they are not doing well at all.

    1
  70. I believe Appeasement would be more accurate. In basic terms it should be called a Stab in the Back. Cowardly,Traitorous, Shameful to the United States. TACO thinks this is how you get a Nobel. This I how you get on the coward list like pre-WWII Nazi apologists like Lindbergh & Lloyd-George.

    0
  71. More like give Putin everything he wants, or we will continue to destroy and kill Ukraine. That isn’t peace, that’s invasion and you will surrender.

    0
  72. Just know that all of MSM in America is now owned and controlled by OLIGARCHs. We don't watch or believe anything they say now. We KNOW it's not a deal; we know putin owns trump.

    2
  73. It's just a distraction from the Epstein files. Barnham and Bailey would be impressed. Anyone with a smattering of intelligence isn't.

    0
  74. Trump is giving Alaska to Russia to stop the war in Ukraine...

    Sounds normal, right?

    0
  75. POTUS is making the exact same mistake as Chamberlain made in the late 30's to Hitler...we all know what the result of that was

    0
  76. Pea brain Trump spells out his great peace deal like this: Russia gets these 'pieces' of Ukraine; Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson, while Zelensky gives a 'piece' of his mind, and Trump gets another 'piece' of pizza. For all we know, Trump actually thinks he deserves a Nobel Peas Prize.
