  2. ‘Unhoused’ - the action of ‘housing’ has not been done to them.

    ‘Homeless’ - they do not posses a home.

    There’s a nuanced distinction, ‘unhoused’ tries to portray people as the objects of a societal failure while ‘homeless’ can portray people as the subjects of a personal failure

My small town police department outright refused to tell the town what gear they were splurging public funds on because they ‘don’t want the enemy to know our capabilities.’ They also routinely rake in 5 digits worth of overtime annually while refusing to work in the rain. Town is 300 people btw.
