Like the little dude with the mustache did in 1930s Germany. The army there started pledging their loyalty to him personally and not to the government--because he, by then, was the government. He was the government because he said so. He changed the oath. Wonder when this regime will go there.

He has redefined treason as anything that gets in his way personally. He sees himself as the head of all the government and so whatever he says or does must not be countermanded ever. I guess someone told him this was his position. He thinks he is an absolute dictator.
