  1. Jesus. Pam Bondi just purported to replace the DC police chief and revoke guidance from earlier today that instructed police to continue to comply with DC’s sanctuary laws — laws duly passed by our city council, elected by our voters.

Even more radical than we’d feared.

The attorney general's directive comes hours after Smith directed MPD officers to share information with immigration agencies regarding people not in custody - such as someone involved in a traffic stop or
checkpoint. The Justice Department said Bondi disagreed with the police chief's directive because it allowed for continued enforcement of "sanctuary policies."Bondi said she was rescinding that order as well as other MPD policies limiting inquires into immigration status and preventing arrests based solely on federal immigration warrants.
All new directives must now receive approval from Cole, the attorney general said.

BREAKING: Federal prosecutors said today they went to a grand jury twice to indict a D.C. woman for assaulting an FBI agent during an arrest by ICE — and were twice rejected.

Notably, she faces the same charge as the District's alleged sandwich thrower. www.wusa9.com/article/news...

  3. Dumb. Of course there's a limitation on a president's authority to "make this country safe." Because what does that even mean? You could keep people "safe" from gun violence by seizing every gun in the country, or keep women "safe" from rape by men by rounding up and killing every male alive.

  4. Attorney James Hollis says that over 80% of people in Alligator Alcatraz are sick, many with Covid symptoms.

    This is eugenics.

People have already died in ICE custody. Many will be disabled.

The inhumane conditions are ripe for the spread of disease.

  5. BREAKING: Attorney General Pam Bondi’s directive effectively replacing the Washington, D.C., police chief was “unlawful,” the capital’s attorney general wrote in a late Thursday memo.

Attorney General Pam Bondi has named the head of the Drug Enforcement Administration as Washington’s “emergency police commissioner,” saying she is granting him the powers of the police chief amid the federal takeover.
