  1. There is a long tradition in UK politics of people who would never get elected on their own platform standing for a party which will get them elected. They either get comfortable or become 'enfants terrible.'

    Not sure that Jeremy Corbyn could ever make his mind up which.

  2. It was said before COVID, he wanted to BE Prime Minister, he didn't want to DO Prime Minister. Despite his projection, he is no fool, he always knew that he couldn't do the job.

    For me that makes him culpable.

  3. It was inevitable that the EU would become closely aligned on diplomatic and military issues. The UK would have been a major player in shaping those. The "crushing" related to the absence of the UK post-BREXIT from that process. That diminished both the EU and the UK

  4. Sadly, Kenny, the enquiry isn't able to determine individual criminal behaviour & nor can people use it's comments to launch civil proceedings.

    Other than an urge to seek retribution on those responsible I understand that.

    It's brief is how did this happen & how do we prevent it happening again?
