I know how you feel. Back in the late 2000's some punks broke into my cavalier. Ransacked everything, throwing everything from the glovebox including the GPS into the back seat, only taking some change from the console.
Still made me feel awful, even though they got a couple bucks in change at best

I've never seen them, but I've read that at least one of the Japanese live action versions play with the death note rules that allow for a very satisfying end to the L/Kira conflict without any Near/Mello inclusion
