Very important for people to read this portion of the Epstein Files Transparency Act so you understand 1) why Mike Johnson was so upset today, and 2) what is NOT permitted to be redacted by the DOJ.

This is great news if the lawlessness of the Trump administration does not ignore these rules. Thanks for the post. I've bookmarked it to compare with how things play out.

The GOP could not be more transparent. Their overwhelming yes votes for the release of the Epstein files just tells us that they have put the kibosh on any damage those files could have caused to Trump! "Can't you smell that smell?"

Is Epstein Trump's Achilles Heel With MAGA? #ABlueView🧵1/3
Do you think this will permanently weaken him with MAGA or GOP politicians? How about with Independents in the next election?

If the Epstein files had fangs, then the enthusiastic GOP yes votes to release them most likely confirms that the fangs have been surgically removed. No Achilles Heel!

The GOP would have not voted so overwhelmingly in favor of releasing the files if they were harmful now. #kibosh

Well, the overwhelming yes vote is probably not a good sign for accountability.
Can someone explain to me what's really going on? A week ago Trump & Johnson are doing everything possible to stop Epstein files release, & GOP seemed to be playing along. Today House votes almost unanimously to release them. Fix has got to be in - either scrubbed files or Bondi stopping it.
