I got locked out, because I couldn't verify my account, I was a bit annoyed at first, but being out that cess pool, is actually quite therapeutic. It went from being a place to chat and communicate with others, to a hate filled right wing sewer. Well rid.

It was obvious where they were coming from, that's why what I said put them off guard, it was quite amusing seeing them struggle to come up with a response. Too many people are ignorant or just plain racist. You could have asked your friends sister if she would include immigrants who are white😏

Your training obviously helped you deal it in the way you did. I'll challenge someone if they say something false or provocative calmly, but to say what she said is horrendous. Someone told me they didn't like Muslims, I asked them what would they do if I converted to Islam, that confused them 😏

You dealt with it better than I could have. I'd have either stood up and said to your friend I can't enjoy my lunch with someone like her, or simply turned to her sister and asked, have you always been a racist, or have you had to work at it? By saying nothing, she may think you agree with her.
