That said, I appreciate you on here and learn a lot. And it sucks that you end up dealing with lots of shit. Being over on the metal side and being a small account keeps me clear of a lot of that.

Incentivizing people to assume the worst and project whatever is going on with them onto others is probably not a good way to shape social interactions. And definitely see that mode of being oblivious to the existence of other people’s subjectivity happening a lot in real life

I don’t go to shows anymore but spent so much time at them in my younger days that listening to metallic hardcore in particular hits in an embodied way unlike other stuff.

None is a great “let’s get more miserable album.” Altars of Grief’s Iris is pretty great let’s lean into being sad music for me.

Serration has a guest on the new Surfaced EP, Where Angels Fear to Tred, which led me to add them.
