Although some may want to raise him to the level of martyr, it serves no one to sugarcoat his past where hatred was a catalyst for his career.
Am I happy? No. But I’m sorry that we are living in a harsher, less compassionate nation that he helped create. And I hope his shooter is captured alive.
You can loathe what a man does in life and still share sorrow in his violent death. You can grieve for his family and those close to him, and even chastise those with even the tiniest urge to celebrate.
But you can also be clear eyed about the harm that that individual’s messaging has brought.
As sick as this is, it’s easy to see how this doctrine falls into place as part of Trump’s #DespairAgenda.
The gutting of a largely benevolent government and the social safety net that it offers is meant to be #ProSTRIFE. And today’s #CowardlyComplicit GOP do nothing, amplifying the despair.

Rather than waiting for Jan 2027 to upend Trump, why not start it by flipping the House in the next month?
Convince three House Republicans to declare as independent, caucusing with Dems and a new #BlueHouse can blast Trump‘s #OverreachRampage to bits.
Many will be unelectable anyway.
Time to show that the “family values“ party doesn’t value families other than those with seven-digit bank accounts.
For the rest of us they are #ProSTRIFE, willing to subject us to unnecessary and cruel economic and health hardships.
Please use this phraseology to call out their twisted ideology.
And with a #BlueHouse you can pass new SCOTUS guidelines for justices, making them subject to the same ethics rules that all other judges in America must abide by.
And those that have violated the current “self-policing“ standard should know that they can and will be impeachable.
