Someone’s mad that she’s worked harder and taken more personal risks for this coup than just about anyone, but Trump is endorsing some no-name MAGA loser to run for Georgia’s senate seat next year. And might even take away her right to vote, which I assume means women couldn’t hold office either.

The one thing Tennesseans have in common is we fancy ourselves badasses. I worked in El Salvador & Colombia. My MAGA cousin cleans up nuclear waste. Dolly Parton owns her whole catalog. Andy Jackson & Davy Crockett hated each other, but both were historic badasses.

Every "Leftist" I know who refused to vote for Vice President Harris was a straight male, and all but one was white. (The other was a non-white Latino.) My hypothesis is that they thought they'd do better under Trump. I wish they'd read a history book instead of anonymous social media posts.

I spent my 30s working alone, as a travel writer, in every corner of Colombia, El Salvador, Venezuela, Mexico, among others. Without a gun, flack jacket, escort. Just me and my notebooks, laptop, camera, and a duffle bag of clothes and toiletries.
