  1. Unfortunately, the founding, not-said-out-loud principles of the Constitution are wrapped up in racism and misogyny. This is what magas want to go back to, frightened by the progress made to overcome these ideologies.

  2. Schools are teaching empathy, critical thinking, and collaboration, certainly not compliance. Yes, there are rules to be followed, but that is needed in any organization. The big problem is parents trying to run the classroom from seating chart to assignments. Teachers are scapegoats.

  3. Agreed. As much as it would hurt, I wonder if the world imposing sanctions on the U.S. would be a viable option; if only for the environmental harm we are/will be causing the entire planet. Possible? Useless?

  4. I'm reminded of the ongoing genocide of the Indigenous peoples. They tried working with the colonists from a point of honor, big mistake. Now we too, try to work with honor and look to be getting trampled. How to beat them without becoming them is the dilemma.
