Happy to say that in California 75% of our energy comes from renewables. We must keep pushing.
California relies on fossil gas for ~40% of its electricity, imports huge amounts of energy from out-of-state, and depends on mining, concrete, and habitat loss to “go renewable.” Ecological limits are real.

Yeah,CA still uses some fossil gas +imports power,but over 60% of our electricity is already non-fossil.The transition isn’t perfect (mining, land use, etc.), but ecological limits Rwhy we need 2ditch fossil fuels fast.Smart siting,efficiency&storage Rkey. No easy outs, but standing still is worse.
