  1. #Septopolis 2. It's the MCs homeland, where he longs to return having been in exile for over 100 years. All he wants is to be with his people and see his family again.

You've gotta be building this place to do something, so what's it for?

Is it meant to be your MC's hometown, evil lair, or some mandatory beach episode silliness for your or your players' characters? Or, perhaps, is it simply an exercise for yourself?

A daily prompt card for #Septopolis 2025, hosted by @khonri.bsky.social. Sept 2: What is your initial planned purpose for this settlement to your plot or campaign?

  2. #Septopolis 1. Anthor. The realm of elves, created as a haven where a new race could flourish away from the hardships of war. It was created to be a utopia, one that would never know the suffering and persecution its creators had to endure.

Welcome to #Septopolis, I hope you enjoy your stay.

Let's start with some basics. To cover a wide range of settlement types, I've tried to phrase these prompts as generally as possible.

With that: what will you be talking about to either share or build fresh?

  3. My MC hails from Anthor, the land of the elves. The origin holds a lot of significance as he has been exiled after his realm was invaded, and he longs to return back home to his son and daughter.

Tell me more about your #AwesomeCharacters

Inspired by the beginning of #Septopolis (check it out if you haven't yet!) Let's talk about where your MC came from!

Is their origin important to the story? Or just a bit of trivia from their past?

  4. The WIP! It follows Racthoh and his trio, having been exiled after his realm was invaded, thrust into a world that has only ever known war, embracing the chaos in an attempt to bring peace. Only then can he hope to return home to what is left of his family.

Online I always go by Racthoh, but fully intend to use my real name once I get a book out there. Current WIP is being put in front of editors and going the indie route as agenting was... demoralizing to say the least. I'm not a good salesman, and too many rules. 1/2
