I think about this a lot. For example, are we really supposed to keep saying 'thank you for your service' to soldiers now? For what service, exactly-- occupying the streets when nobody wanted you there? Intimidating civilians you're supposed to protect?
This is an excellent point. One part of Trump Admin is flooding cash into private markets; another part is moaning about slow shriveling of the public markets.
(And that second part will say the solution is to gut investor protections in the name of more IPOs) #compliance #audit #ICFR #finreg
