I’m excited to be joining Stephen Colbert tonight on “The Late Show.”

Back in 2013, I joined “The Colbert Report” to discuss how we build an economy that works for the many, not just the few.

  1. I bet the word capitalism is not uttered and you will continue to ignore the disease while sooking about symptoms continue to blame half if the owned political system instead of the whole system and and the economic incentives that cause the enshitification of everything and enslavement of everyone

  2. Of course as a Democratic party shill you'll not be discussing how endless bipartisan wars and funding genocide on Palestine are the #1 reason Americans workers will never see that economy.

  3. I’m looking forward to seeing this so much. Your views are always considered, intelligent & eye opening. I just hope that certain people don’t post kick back comments afterwards the way they unjustly did with Kamala (for God’s sake, don’t mention book sales!).

  6. It was true, then, and it's true now.... why is this so hard. If only we had an actual 'opposition' party, willing to work for the people....

  7. I was shocked to see the price of beef go up almost $15.00 for a 10 pound pack since January 2025. But most of all it has gone up almost $5 since July 20, 2025.

Ah, Robert, no you were wrong by far. In 1998 I was making $28.50 an hour as a Tech Support Specialist. In 2013 I was doing the same job, now called Customer Support Specialist, for $17.00 an hour. Your statement is a lie. 2013 was not an improvement. It was not more equitable. It was bull.

  10. It's far more simple and the holy St. Francis already told us and lived up to it:

If no one does accumulate possession everybody has enough.

  12. I heard you list things that changed under Reagan and I’ll bet most people don’t know. Like stock buybacks used to be illegal and lobbyist money.

  13. Colbert was loved and revered by many. Trump is despised by more. Trump can’t handle other people who are loved by millions. But then again many Germans loved Hitler until they hated him.

  14. I think you need to this show again. Until you can sum up your concept in 10 words .... because the situation has improved. So methinks you should be a regular until January 2029.

    Best greetings from Bavaria 🇪🇺🇩🇪

  16. Enjoyed seeing you on Colbert tonight! Need to apologize for a comment I made on your post about not getting your book because of the title. I’m 4’10” Until tonight I didn’t know that you might have your own vertical challenges. l had already bought the book! Randy Newman, can kiss my ass!

  17. You did a great job Robert! I’ve always admired and respected you, but now I know you are from my home state of PA and you were born the same year as my husband and what an important year that was. Thank you for your guidance and you positivity. There are many times that you lift me up.

  18. This was back when "truthiness" was a source of humor before trump aggressively spearheaded his post-truth world into prominence. Special recognition goes to Kellyanne Conway (remember "alternate facts"), subsequent press officers, Rupert Murdoch, and other right-wing cable "news" and talk radio.

  19. Nice. Glad you’ll be on tonight. You’ve been warning us about the economy forever. I ended up working for the department of labor at the tail end of your time. Left during Acosta’s. 🙄

  21. The Colbert Report was funny at the time, but now that Republicans have become so absurd, it's harder to laugh. Looking forward to seeing you on his current show!

  23. We can't use T-mobile & other cell companies, being connected to Starlink !!!!

In late June, after he said trump was in the Epstein files, he donated 5 million to trump 🤔

We MUST find alternative cells companies, Maga(Ice) is LISTENING 👀

  24. Far too much commonsense from you. Raising minimum wage: now many would see that as a joke, the many being of course the top 1% rich fucks.
