Having smaller crowds means that the company is getting the more rabid fans which adds to the show.
The product comes across way better on TV with the smaller, unique arenas.

I like how AEW is going to smaller arenas. Feels more like an old school ECW crowd and comes across way better on TV

We should probably be talking more about how WWE effectively bought a massive amount of positive media coverage by taking a lower money deal with ESPN in exchange for the treatment that ESPN gives its content partners.
