It’s not just healthcare. Literacy, infant mortality and life expectancy are all improved. Yes, the majority live in poverty, not least because of the ridiculous US embargo.

I have spoken to many Cubans. Ordinary Cubans. And although most of them were not alive under Batista’s dictatorship, the stories they hear from their parents and grandparents are enough to convince them that no matter their problems now they are better off. 👇🏼

I have no idea of all of Russia’s or China’s intentions, but am pretty damn sure they’re not intending to invade or bomb lots of countries as the US does on a fairly regular basis.
