  2. 4th August 1944: Victoria Cross action of Squadron Leader Ian Bazalgette. He and his crew were flying a Lancaster of 635 Sqn, part of the Pathfinder force, on a daylight raid. The target was the V-1 storage facility at Trossy St.Maximin, north of Paris; they were to identify and mark the site. 🧡1/10
