So, nothing to do with restoring the Russian empire then, and demilitarising Ukraine while preventing NATO expansion has been a bit of a flop. Now we learn it was all about the language. A couple of points, Vlad; Russian was never banned in Ukraine and even if was it was never any of your business.

The irony of demanding recognition in international law of the outcome of a breach of international law. And by what mechanism would Ukraine be “granted neutrality”? Russia never granted Ukraine conditional permission for independence. The USSR of which Ukraine and Russia were part, ceased to exist.

Another two-weeks draws to a close and Trump shifts to “we’ll see what happens in the next few days”. Although Jake is correct that the security guarantees will not kick in until there is an end to the conflict, at least there is an evolving plan, and the conflict will eventually end.

This is actually a Trump post I can’t take issue with. The US did greatly assist China in its war against Japan, and the three amigos ARE conspiring against the US. But was the post actually written by a POTUS who has claimed to be in love with Kim and seemed barely able to remotely criticise Vlad?
