Some pictures from today's visit to Bishop Auckland. Never thought I'd say this after a really crap year I spent there in the 70s but it is well worth a visit. Especially the Spanish Gallery. The pics are all from the restored kitchen garden at Auckland Castle

This morning's bulletin on the UKs move towards authoritarian govt came in the form of Nasty Nick claiming that tectonic playes have moved and that withdrawal from the ECHR is now the mainstream opinion and quoted Straw, Blunkett & Rifkin. All notably progressive when in office🤣🤣🤣
