Today we celebrate the Labor movement and the men and women who have built this country. America has achieved what it has because of the commitment of our unions and those they represent.
You may have noticed when POTUS insisted he personally brought peace to numerous countries. One of them, he claimed, was Congo. But my friends there tell me the fighting is as bad as ever. The civil war between Congo & Rwanda doesn't get much media attention, but it has been going on for years.

Pritzker on Trump sending troops into cities: "He has other aims other than fighting crime... he would like to stop the elections in 2026 or frankly take control of those elections. He'll just claim there's some problem with an election and then he's got troops on the ground that can take control."
Putin, speaking in China today, again confirmed nothing has changed. He wants a pliable Ukraine, one that will remain tethered to Russia in some way. He added he wants to undo the "Eurocentric and Euro-Atlantic models" also confirming his aims for his meeting in Alaska, to split US and Europe.
