Only Brown and Sotomayor, the two women of color, are openly sharing their statements of dissent. Once again, leave it to women of color to speak truth to power with no fear and no regrets.

  2. Justice KJB is not wrong. Roberts keeps telling everyone to stop threatening judges for "doing their jobs." He never mentions 90% of threats, hatred & disrespect towards courts come from the White House. Federal Courts are doing the work Roberts court refuses to do.

  4. โ€ฆ. Yes, it does! Yet, the country seems to lack an effective way at crushing the Nazi Regimeโ€™s continued destruction! Whatโ€™s it going to take? By midterms- the voting process will be untrustworthy!

  8. True, Justice Jackson is correct, the Maga 6 are the most vile, lawless, corrupt, anti-constitution, justices in American History, they are fascist.

  9. Indeed, and it does. Can we get a NEW one? Lol. You know, one that BELIEV3S IN and follows the intent of our founders?

  10. Americans are sleepwalking through the fascist takeover of the government. Every singe day it's worse and worse. Getting in the streets 1x every 2 months won't do it. What's needed?Tens of millions daily. Labor and tax strikes.Say what you will about the so called "resistance," it has totally failed

  11. Elections have consequences. It's not like we werent warned about this stuff 10 years ago. All i could do was shake my head at the rising apathy and silly choruses of "I dont like either candidate!" Smh.

  13. I, absolutely, agree with her statement!

How can an Executive Order change the Constitution?

This last six months has been SO overwhelming; and we have 3 1/2 more years of this crazy man that has said he wants to RULE America and the world๐Ÿ˜ฑ๐Ÿคฌ

  14. It should, but the stupid people that were warned over and over still voted for this. They wonโ€™t realize it till the s#\t falls on their head. And Iโ€™m guessing not even then.

  19. It's not even about "Interpretation". A majority of the Supreme Court does not believe in the Bill of Rights... a document they are sworn to PROTECT as their life's calling.

  20. Truly shocking from an acting Supreme Court justice. I've worked for law firms for 30+ years now as support staff, and never ever imagined the Supremes would be the ones to fall. But with the Thomas hearings, we had a bad feeling, and we lost Ginsburg, and added Kavanaugh, and now it is up to us.

  21. I know Red Team & Blue Team are both focused on KBJโ€™s fiery dissent, but itโ€™s a dissent that neither Kagan nor Sotomayor were willing to endorse.

Sotomayorโ€™s opinion is the one endorsed by all three liberal justices.

The votes of reason aren't enough to keep the whole ship from sinking when the 6 others are blasting cannon balls in its hull.

  28. True...it is. And everyone needs to recognize that. To have a rule of law you MUST have habeas corpus for everyone and a defined set of due process actions for everyone. SCOTUS has now allowed federal agencies to ignore both. Without habeas corpus--the right to appear before a judge, a court,

In other words, This SC wants to kill the rule of law. The irony is not lost on us that they are at the Helm of Constitutional Law.

Doesn't scare me because I knew this when SCOTUS butchered the Colorado Case to keep felons out of Public Office. People keep hoping & praying, instead of organizing, I don't believe in Santa Clause or escaping to another planet

  40. White, middle and upper class Americans have enjoyed a lifetime of unfettered freedom and privilege, so many of them are not the least bit concerned with the rule of law. They simply cannot relate to the threat.

Nothing will change until they experience what others already have.

  41. So true. Trump is not king. Everyone deserves due process. For clearly unconstitutional EO nationwide injunction is the only way. SCOTUS sucks.

  42. I met Sotomeyer once and other than being a gorgeous human being. I looked down into a bowel, looked up and saw her sitting across from me, said "I can't believe I am smoking weed in front a supreme court judge," she laughed. She told me they were the biggest danger then. I see why.

The fact that she has Black children under her care while she calls the most qualified person on the bench ignorant, enrages me. ๐Ÿ˜ก

Start corruption investigations. Nominate more Justices. Absolutely burn the current system to the ground.

It saddens me to think of the obstacles they've had to surmount to reach the high court, how intelligent, skilled and dedicated they are, and THIS is their reward.
