What I love most about Dan Shore (other than his music!) are the ways he looks at us over his glasses with both eyebrows raised in such a matter-of-fact, understated way, the sort of thing one does not to try to paper over reality, but ironically, to make that reality more explicit.

Same. It reads to me like sublime nonsense. Look at the ¶ that begins, "Yet in today's world." It's meaningless. How would one go about translating it into Russian or ANY language? Translation from one language to another requires that one 1st understand the original. "It is time" is indeed curious.

It's very simple: if we now - Ukraine, the EU and the US - cannot stop Putin from putting forward such conditions - what will stop him from putting forward the next ones?
I was wondering about him. I looked through his replies and they seemed a little too much on the bot-/troll-like side. In other words, they seemed like pre-packaged, ready-made phrases.
