  1. Congress passed a bipartisan law long ago mandating that a plaque honoring the officers who defended Capitol on J6 be displayed in the building. Mike Johnson has ignored that law and refuses to do it.

  2. In the 19th century federal civil service was created to avoid political patronage. Prior to 47, civil servants were encouraged to report facts. Today, if those facts run contrary to 47’s feelings on a subject, then truth tellers may be fired. 47 may fly blind.
