Besides the Epstein diversion, the deployment of troops to DC is to create two chilling possibilities. One, to invoke the insurrection act and put down any demonstrations as the country goes south. Two, to suspend elections and declare martial law if the country turns against him.
What are our options if he does decide to declare Martial Law when it is he who people try to depose? Seem things are going to get might ugly around here.

I feel like suspending elections is the only thing that will cause many millions of Americans to push back forcefully. And that's only because it hurts eligible voters personally in a very big way. Way too many people can't be bothered to care about anyone but themselves.
