Nearly 2am, and I've finally completed all my essential tasks despite the gnawing pain.
I know it must be hard work to be close to a shambles human, but please consider that it is also very hard to be that shambles human.

Thank you I genuinely wouldn't have even asked for fear of getting some unknown medical slang for "drug seeker" on my records, but this is really reassuring.
I get 100 over 2 months, so it'd be a rum old few weeks with nowt.

This is a good point. I need to remember that meds (and I'm still only on a half dose working my way up through titration) are an aid not a cure. These things wont go away.
This one's a bad one though.

I gather taking 8 paracetamol at a time isn't encouraged. My own stupid fault.

There is but, it's not only pricey, but only 12.5mg of codeine per tablet as opposed to the 60mg I take.
