So...Bria snuck out this a.m. with keys, managed to unlock and start car, put it in reverse and was luckily stopped by a now damaged garage door. This is a kid who can't completely dress herself. We're all freaked.

Aw, she would have gotten along with my mom. In her final years she would only eat canned salmon...from the can.
At that age you just let them enjoy whatever makes them happy.

No kidding. Who would have thought that we would already be nostalgic for the time (2 months ago) when ribeye was only $13.99 a pound?

Did a Sam's/UPS run yesterday in town. Picked up some steaks and chuck roasts and I felt like I was indulging in designer groceries.
Cut them all in half and put them in zip bags. Enough to last until December. At those prices I wasn't sure whether to freeze them or lock them in the wall safe.
