I'm not surprised.
The disapproval of the Democratic party is high right now. I want to see some action before I donate.
I'm sick of my money going to ineffective actions.

Yeah, that's why I keep it to a minimum because I've had places that were like that too.
Also, if they provide equipment check with them before bringing in your own keyboard and mouse, some places don't allow that for security reasons.

This, but I also think that it's pressure from Hasbro and not necessarily WotC.
Prior to the buyout this was not the presented attitude or behavior. They also didn't release sets a bazillion times each year.
We aren't hungry for any product, we want "quality" product and not from a fire hose.
The biggest thing about MTG and how WoTC handles grievances is that the player is the problem
Poor Commander experience? You weren't having the right conversations or cultivating the right playgroup.
Overwhelmed by the deluge of product? You need to only focus on the parts that make you happy.
