I hear you. Its already impossible to safely go camping in areas in Vic where deer hunting is allowed, because you are corralled in comparatively narrow strips of land where the people camped next to you will shoot anything that moves. That is if you aren't murdered by a nutter airline pilot...

The challenge is NSW Premier Minns trying to get through changes to hunting law that weaken the existing gun control. The cookers already had weapons they didn't hand back in the amnesty, or got illegally. Police &ASIO haven't acknowledged the extent of white male radicalisation and terrorism.

Australia is like this, with a training course for a licence, secure lockable storage with separate locked ammunition, controlled registered gun sales, but wider range of weapons. The problem is our MAGA-wannabe politicians who get feted by US gun lobby and bolstered to push for weakened law.
