Iād rather be here rather than back then. At the very least I learned how little my hoping and wishing didnāt matter a hill of beans, and that my hustle, grit, and determination meant a ton more.

Just wanted to offer my solidarity and my support. I share many of the challenges you described...happy to be out, but sad that I had to live so long as a deeply uncomfortable person and also that I missed out on experiences that I could have had.
I can't change then... but I can keep changing now.
