True, but I still notice and get jokes on a new reading even though I'm essentially the same age as his daughter and been reading since the beginning
There are so many jokes some of them will hit well, same as Shaxsper if well done, I was in my 40s when I understood the pun in Much Ado's title
I think there is also a lot of British stuff in there, references to British sitcoms of the 70s for example. All available through an internet search I suppose 😊
Oh yeah, and being British getting that was second nature--as was spotting the band names in Soul Music
But I regularly look thru the Annotated Pratchett site during/after a reread these days and find stuff that I'd completely missed
