I can’t think of a single seat where the LibDems are the main challengers to Reform. They just aren’t. The battleground at next GE will be Lab v Reform and Con v Reform. Other parties will just take votes off the main party opposing Reform.

I’m not trying to be antagonistic but that’s literally not what I said.

My view is that LD will take seats off Tories, and Lab will lose seats to Reform (if it stays its current trajectory). Reform will of course rinse what remains of the Tories.

  1. A coalition with a man who sat in the Cabinet of a Conservative led government that inflicted austerity on the country is never going to happen. It’s a long way out to the next GE and a week is a long time in politics. The Tories will get a new leader for one.
