I watched #Katrina in real time, 2005. Thought I hated that bumbling Bush FEMA-toady Michael Brown enough back then.
But watching the @National Geographic documentary on Netflix tonight & WOW -- what a clueless, awful, selfish human being was Brown. You can add "fly-over" Pres Bush too.

He is giving Chief Justice Roger B. Taney a run for his money as WORST Chief Justice in U.S. history.
Taney was notoriously the author of the Dred Scott v. Sandford opinion that African Americans cannot be U.S. citizens & Congress could not prohibit slavery. Just a piece of Taney's awfulness . . .

I don't disagree with your comments on nutrient dense foods / dollar.
I just found it a bit flippant to reduce people's grocery budgeting problems, struggling wages, and overall food insecurity to just -- stop eating animal flesh.
Perhaps you don't know any food insecure folks. Imagine them.
