Aleksey and Masha are currently in #Armenia, where they applied to get a humanitarian visa to visit #Germany. This application was denied, because the humanitarian visa program has been suspended, due to a review of the visa laws.

Alexey Moskalyov and his daughter Masha Moskalyova fled Russia after he was imprisoned for discrediting the army. Germany rejected their humanitarian visa, leaving their fate uncertain.
That was, as I called it in my previous Masha thread, "the best news I've gotten in weeks". May more good news come, to #Ukraine and to Ukraine's supporters in #Russia!
Hello! In light of the over 300 people that have followed this account over the last ~36 hours (my greatest increase of followers ever), I would like to reproduce a thread I made on the old site.
In 2023/2024, a very weird legal case happened in Russia: a man was imprisoned for a child's drawing!
Now, Masha has gotten her wish on 15 October 2024, for Aleksey was released on that date!

On 18 August 2023, Masha managed to write this heartfelt letter to Aleksey, asking why he is in jail, and demanding that the #Russian authorities "state how and what for". Masha said that she wanted "very much for them to release" her father.
Until last June, by the way, Sultanbegova continued to operate a Telegram channel to support Masha (which Masha herself has since been given control of):

In this now-deleted tweet (translation on right), Sultanbegova called herself an "unprincipled criminal", said that she violated the restraint before it was imposed, and teasingly promised that she will follow the order (since you can't leave a country you aren't in).
Later, a court would uphold Aleksey Moskalyov's sentence on 3 July 2023, while a journalist that covered the case, Alipat Sultanbegova, was accused of "discreditation" and banned from leaving #Russia (which is odd, since by that time, she was already in #Armenia).
