I commute from Alexandria, VA, to Baltimore, MD. In 19 years have dealt with traffic. I have seen accidents. But nothing prepared me for the daily blockade of police and national guardsmen standing in the right lane of a major DC artery, slowing traffic, peering into cars, and pulling people over.

Any White person that tells Black people to be patient in their pursuit of justice is an enemy. This tactic has been used to delay our progress for centuries. It’s a tell-tell sign they are attempting to pacify you, rather than become an ally in our cause.
