The lack of coverage was, unfortunately, a product of being drowned out by other Trump shenanigans. A quick Google search yielded several reports by MSM on the shooting and subsequent reports on the shooter. This administration is a master at distraction. Elevating stories like this is paramount.
I think every day about the CDC being under siege. Trumpism is a grave threat to the people who are actually protecting the public. So heartbroken for everyone trying to do their jobs there and for the slain officer and his family.
The response was to send in the National Guard... 550 miles away!

When discussing this topic, I think it is interesting that the police officer who gave his life in defense of our fellow people is not mentioned by the majority of posts. I understand the importance of this domestic terror incident and I once worked and lived in the area.
