He's right, but a retired person being told to go on Linkedin is terrible advice. It's not for you! You don't have to do this anymore! Enjoy your retirement.
My dad shut down his company and closed his websites this year. He started getting spam on LinkedIn and said maybe he needs to delete LinkedIn. I asked him why the hell he was still on LinkedIn if he had no reason to be there? Run. Escape! You've made it to the end game!

I retired a few years ago. I forgot to edit/delete the account then and now I cant remember the password, which I never used even when it was potentially semi-relevant. I should probably ask them to delete the account but CBA. Apparently their equity has a non-zero value. Astounding.
