The only thing about old accounts tied to defunct emails is if someone can get the email address then they can get into your account.

My dad shut down his company and closed his websites this year. He started getting spam on LinkedIn and said maybe he needs to delete LinkedIn. I asked him why the hell he was still on LinkedIn if he had no reason to be there? Run. Escape! You've made it to the end game!

A lot of these accounts on YouTube that don't get targeted ads are Google for Schools. But we don't see the ads on the school network, only at the same accounts on our home internet and data.
