Orange and lime juice, orgeat (almond and orange blossom syrup), brandy, gin and rum.

I use wipes to avoid getting others, but she objected to the smell. I’m just glad it wasn’t worse! It was a hot day, so there was a lot of bare skin.

This evening’s patio cocktail is one of R’s favorites, a Scorpion. It’s cooled off to 83F now; quite pleasant.

LUCKY! If I get even a little bit, it spreads in my bloodstream and I get oozing sores all over. Have to kill it with steroids.

My favorite con encounter was the late Jo Beverley at RomCon in 2010. Historical romance author panel, with tea. She & I chatted while getting our tea. Her next event was a costume demo; she was worried about it. I ended up going with her and serving as dresser for her and Amanda McCabe. Delightful!
