There's two invasives I'm aware of, Aedes aegypti and Aedes albopictus. Both are rather distinctive with white stripes on their legs and upper thorax. I'm on the Oregon border with Northern California, thankfully on the coast where we have few mosquitos of any stripe.

They don't sit still for long! They're members of the flycatcher family and have favorite perches to watch for passing bugs
