Have you noticed how your argument has shrunk to nothing? If you donât want them working off the books, just give them citizenship. Or at the state level at least you can remove e verify requirements.

They all pay taxes. Most of them are on payroll, and the reason some arenât is because the state makes it nearly impossible. They arenât trying to âgameâ anything. Itâs insane to suggest that immigrants are the ones holding wages down when the federal government has set the minimum wage at $7.25

This is a wild pivot from âthere wonât be a countryâ. Is it safe to say youâre abandoning that argument? Now itâs much softer. Wages, and social services. Undocumented immigrants pay taxes and they arenât eligible for much in terms of services. So youâre wrong there too.
